I have quite been a reader these days. There are books and sites all about natural cures to our health that I have been reading. Of course, acne has been a very big problem of every teenager alive. I get pimples whenever I feel so down and whenever my menstrual period is coming up.
Did you know that you could actually get acne or pimples once you have too many blackheads and whiteheads? I did not know that actually.
As of what I have read, it says:
Blackheads can form when the oil combines with skin pigments and gets trapped. Blackheads may suggest the need for better hygiene, or magnesium and vitamin A. Chronic, numerous whiteheads can also form during acne outbreaks, suggesting vitamin B1 deficiency or absorption problems. Consistent raised spots on the outside of the arms and sometimes even the thighs, resembling “chicken skin,” may suggest need for magnesium, vitamin A, or essential fatty acids or the need to avoid foods that inhibit the absorption of these nutrients, such as trans-fatty acids found in margarine and hydrogenated oils, such as cottonseed oil and palm kernel oil.
You see, hygiene and food are really good contributors to lessening acne or pimples. Once you eat good foods and always maintain a clean environment and body, you might be able to lessen acne problems. It is also a plus plus points not to think about problems. They just worsen things up.
