Did you know that the United States of America comprises the 5% of the world’s population and is also a home to the 23% of the world’s prisoners?
The infographics below will tell you more information about this. It’s really sad to know that the US houses substantially most of the world’s prisoners.
The US should really take a look into this and perhaps make a move on how to lessen crime rates and prisoners. It is both alarming to them and to the world since most of the investments are in US. However, I know that the said country is making some necessary steps regarding this.
