The title means congratulations.
It is one of the few things I would love to hear soon, other than I love you, of course.
While writing my previous post, I was in deep frustration. That happens to people like me who did not know what they wanted at the beginning. Let me tell you the story behind my frustration. Hey, I started attending university at sixteen. I was a minor. I never cared about anything. How would I know what exactly that I wanted?
Aside from that, financial and emotional problems arose too. It was just few months after my father’s death when I graduated high school. We were in stage of unstable income. All of our money went into the medication of my father. Let’s just say that all of my father’s income from our two stores, one coffee shop, and his whole retirement from MSU TCTO all went into the doctor’s fee, chemo, radio therapies, medicines, and so on. My uncle had to sell his van too. We have also borrowed money from other people which is now paid, of course.
When I graduated high school, we were all in great shock. Though my coping mechanism was indeed great, it still was not enough. I passed UP Diliman for interior designing but it would cost us about 24,000 per semester when we computed the tuition fee alone. We could not afford that, truth be said. I ended up with accountancy. I chose accountancy for the fact that I was be a SASE scholar which I lost for .02 in my grades. T_T And yes, I am in my fourth year now. One more year, I will graduate. InshaAllah. On October 2013, I will bear a three-letter to my name, CPA. Amin.
Despite how I fight to love this field, I still long for what I am greatly passionate of. My current coping mechanism is to finish this one and pursue what I loved the most when I am CPA. Sounds like shit? Well, I will be taking 6-month course on designing, that is. At least, I will be able to achieve what I want. All that is in Allah’s will. If he will let me, Alhamdulillah. If not, sabr.
I may sound to have regrets. It’s a good thing. At least, I now know what I want. It will rather be alarming if I did not know what I wanted, right? There will always be frustrations in all of us. If not, how will be able to dream? How will we be able to tell great stories?
Remember, great stories started with frustrations. Frustrations keep us going. They fuel us to being good persons. InshaAllah, it will bring me to goodness. We just have to keep on dreaming and making things work for us. Then, we will reach the ecstasy – the zenith of our happiness.

I have been tweeting about this feeling. I felt so wronged and I cannot contain it anymore. T_T Do you think I will be a good accountant? Make me feel better please.
Deep within me says that I will not be. I posted about this in my other blog: www.hijabified.net.
Just a piece of advice, be the one you are. Don’t be someone else. You’ll just end like shit.

Seriously. Have you had one of those days that you really really reaaaaaally want to blog but you cannot because you don’t have any topic to blog about? Bingo! I just had mine today. I spent almost the entire day looking for a perfect topic. I was so jealous of Rhea of bebe-doll.net who updates effortlessly.
Then, I thought, why not blog about this? I mean, about having no topic to blog. Okay. I know. I know. I’m doomed! It is only the beginning of the year yet I feel so blank. I think, I should go and seek counselling. But hey! I am really okay. It’s just that my mind flew somewhere else.
Let me show you another shot of the wedge I bought yesterday. Why? Because this is a useless post and I would like it to have an image. hahaha.

Did I tell you that I got these for Php 488? I got a Php 10 discount when I asked for it. Yeah. I suck at asking for discounts. Maybe, I should tone down my outfit whenever I go shopping. However, Php 488 was already a steal. I saw the same kind of wedge somewhere in Iligan for about Php 700. Hah! I know. I love cheap items but I would never forego the quality I deserve. And those I buy are of great quality even though they are priced low. Yay to that!

And here are the things that will keep me being broke for the next month of my life. T_T I had to send them for repair because their nose pads are all damned.

And up to now, I still can’t believe that my casio watch battery would cost my Php 250. That’s a half of the watch’s price. Yes, I bought the watch at Php500. Wow. I should have bought another fake watch rather than buy that battery. Too bad, that uncle already have put the battery. Lesson learned! T_T
My dad have passed away four years ago this month. Some people call it death anniversary. I don’t know why they even celebrate a person’s death. Okay. It is not celebration. However, I hate to call it ANNIVERSARY. It sounds so wrong.
I miss my dad. Every single day, I envy those people who still have their fathers with them. I hated those people who ignores their father. Because if I had a chance, a moment to be with him, I will cherish it with all my heart.
I’m stopping here before I sound so lonely.
I guess, I have a lot of topic to blog. I was just too dumb to know it. haha.
And oh, before I end this, can you please like my FB PAGE? Help me gain 500 likes please! Thanks.
Toodles!

If you have been following my flickr and facebook pages, you will know that I have had a room revamp. I made it a point that I finish my room revamp before the clock hits 2012. It is like letting go of bad things I have gone through in 2011 and starting anew for 2012.
So, let us start with the DIY Eiffel Tower silhouette.
You will need:
- 5 pieces Black cartolina or Manila card (you can choose whatever color you want but since I am making a silhouette, I will go for black.)
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Scissors and cutter
- Double sided tape or Scotch tape
- Bondpaper or sketchpad
So, you have everything we need already? Let us start.
First, you need to sketch the easiest Eiffel Tower silhouette on a sketch pad. I searched Google for some images. To easily draw the Eiffel Tower, you need to divide the paper into 4 parts such as this:

Now, we are ready.
You can choose on whether to create a gigantic silhouette or smaller one. Mine is 7.5 feet tall. That’s why I need 5 cartolinas.
One part of the tower is for one cartolina except the bottom one which needs 2 cartolina papers.
Glue the 2 cartolinas for the bottom part. Sketch each part to each of the cartolinas. Use a ruler to achieve a better and straighter sketch. The Eiffel Tower is made up of straight lines, you do not want to have a curve on some of the details. Cut them with scissors and cutter.

You should be able to achieve these:

TOPMOST

TOP MIDDLE

BOTTOM MIDDLE

BOTTOM
Be sure that the bottom portion of each part is 45% smaller than the bottom portion of the part below it. That means, the topmost part is 45% smaller than the top middle part, and so on. Be sure that every cartolina has the same height too.
Stick everything into place on your bedroom wall or anywhere. Tsaran! You now have a dreamy bedroom with the touch of Paris.

I hope you enjoyed this DIY tutorial. I enjoyed making the Eiffel Tower. Thanks to Korean drama, A Scent of a Woman, for the inspiration.
Toodles!
