Today, mom and I had our bonding. We roam around the city in search of good cloths. For those who are my friends in facebook, they know that I am trying to learn sewing.
Then, we went into this Chinese store in town. There were loads of stuffs that I liked. However, I chose cardigans and some tank tops only.

For the things above, I spent less than Php500 ($12). I loved every piece I got. I love how cheap they can be. I mean, if ever I get those pieces from the mall or the boutique, I will have to pay for it for a much higher price.
So, starting now, I am gonna be saying hello to more of cheap finds. Haha! As they say, it’s not about the signature of the dress but how the person brings it.
So, do you buy things with no signature too? <3

I thought you are a strict person. However, as I get to know you better, you proved me wrong. You are a noisy and kind person.
That statement is just one of the many comments I receive from people. Some pertains to me as maldita in the first look. I could not blame them because I have eyes and brows of that of the wicked witch.
Here’s the catch, I don’t really mind being called anything. I don’t even mind being asked for favor. I love helping people out with their things. I love seeing people contented with what I can give. However, with any generosity comes abusive people. Sometimes, I think to myself, “I should not have helped him na lang.” Then, I begin to scold myself. I should help others because I love doing it.
Pero diba? You can not really forego of the thought na: Why is nobody helping when I am the one in need? When they needed me, I was there to help with all my might.
I do not like thinking about those things. Pero, I know everyone does, especially when your kindness is abused. Take it from me. I am generous. I don’t mind spending a dime for a coffee or two for friends and family.
Siguro, Allah has put my blessings in another form. Like this blog. It has given me my living. Yes. That is me speaking literally. My mom has retired and she has not received any of her pension yet. So, I have to make ends meet for my college. Though, she handles our food and my tuition fee, there are still expenses that needed to be taken care of. I do not have anyone to look back to. I am the only child and my dad has passed away. I have cousins but I am too shy to ask. That’s why, I am very much thankful that I was introduced to blogging and earning through it.
Bihira ang nabibigyan ng pagkakataon at blessing na tulad ko. Not many is given the passion to blog and to make a living out of it. I know, 5k is not that much. Pero, it has given me the means to submit projects and the like. Sometimes nga eh nakakapanglibre pa ako through it. So, it makes sense. When you can’t seem to get something from one thing, panigurado, you will have it in another form.
My kindness might be abused by some. Pero, that does not mean na magpapaabuso na lang ako. This time, I will have barriers (not that big). Pero, the one that will at least earn me a respect. tsk. As my mom always said to me: It is okay to be kind and generous. Yes, those are what we need to have a self-actualization. Pero, there are people who will always abuse. NEVER LET THEM. It is better to know your boundaries than be left with nothing in the end.
After this post, you may look at me in a different perspective. I couldn’t care more. It’s me saying, I’ll have my reservations this time. You can’t just bug the hell out of me even if you were my bestfriend.

English 8 is supposedly a writing class. Lucky us, our professor agreed to have a culminating event – a time to showcase talents and have fun.
Tuesday, October 18, 2011, the culminating event was held in rooms 204 and 205 of CBAA. The preparations took a half-day and it was really hard due to lack of time. However, it began on time and the show went on smoothly.
Here are some of the highlights during the culminating event.
During the preparations:

After half a day practices, rehearsals and preparations, the main event began at exactly 4pm.
Boys opened the show with their production number of Teach Me How To Dougie.

The girls, of course, have a prod number too. Most of us danced to Sweet Like Cola.

Up next is the song number by the band of 4Vidas, After Scenes (Like their page here).
Following the song number is a series of numbers from the students who were not from our batch, most of them from Psychology department.

Carol and LT did a song number. They sang That’s The Way It Is by Celine Dion.

The dancers of 4Vidas hit the floor with numbers also.

Aishieee and Fat sang for us. This was the first time for most of the 4Vidas to hear Aishiee sing. So, everyone was really happy to hear her voice.

Everyone was taken away when this couple took the floor. Kate sang while Mar is on the guitar. Super kilig, I tell you.

A series of advertisements were also a part of the program to keep the presenters going. The ads were fantastic and funny.

Of course, Mench and Jiggy presented their Lyrical Hiphop entry. We were all at awe when they took the floor. Truly exceptional talents.

Joseph did a lipsync song number. It was really hilarious. We almost fell from our seats laughing – literally. Our mouths seem to be imitating him. haha

The highlight of the show was the Comical Skit of Miss Gay 2011. It was really funny. I will upload the video next time. It will be up in the next post, I think, or the post after that.

We were all laughing at the top of our lungs the whole time. It was indeed a one of a kind event.
Ending the program was another song number from After Scenes singing the original composition of Keithe Billones, “100%”.

Of course, it is the theme song of our batch. We sang along and went to the front.

We ended the show with an inspirational message from our dear professor. She said that she will never forget us and that we were more than just kids with brains. And that we were all game for whatever show to handle and perform for despite the lack of time.

our lovely professor.
To top it all, a family portrait would not be missed of course.

All the hardships for that day paid off. The show was successful. Everything went well despite some technical issues. The performances were superb. And the best thing about it is our professor is happy. We made her forget the problems of the world even for just a three-hour show. Everything was worth it.

I am a business student and I believe in the importance of converting currencies. You can earn with converting currencies alone. Just playing with the fluctuations of exchange rates will make you earn money.
You can convert any currency by using the conventional way of multiplying the Foreign currency with its equivalent amount per currency in your monetary unit. However, it is not everyone who wants to do maths. Who would want to know every closing rate of currencies and multiply it on his own?
I’ve recently stumbled into an Online Currency converter app that offers a conversion of one currency into numerous different currencies. For example, you can convert Philippine Peso into USD, Euro, GBP, and CNY all at the same time. It lessens the time needed for conversion. And the spot rates are always updated each day.
FreeCurrencyRates.com is the site that offers this kind of online conversion. As you can see in the photo above, you are able to convert one currency into other different currencies. This online currency is now available in the world wide web for us to enjoy and use. If you own an iPhone, you can also get its iPhone app.
So, how can you earn with conversion of currencies? Well, you should be able to have guts to get into this game. You should be able to forecast what is the spot rate for the next few days. Then, when you see that the foreign currency is within your favorable condition, you should take the chance. Wise minds are needed in this kind of things. You should be able to predict what will happen next. Most importantly, you should be wise in terms of business. Plus, there is freecurrencyrates.com that will help you know the spot rates each day. It is also available in seven languages for you to be able to understand which country you may be from.
Thank God for brilliant minds that made apps such as this possible.

When you are a student like me, you’ve probably waiting for a time when you can rest your mind. Lucky me, it has come. Semester has ended. Another chapter of my college life has closed. And there are three more semesters to go. Yay me!
Moving on, I want to congratulate every JPIAn who just turned PICPAn today. Wow. You are all now Certified Public Accountants. I can’t wait for my turn, inshaAllah. It made me realize that I should study harder. Congratulations to the batch 2011 of MSU IIT (AVANZA) for getting a 100% passing rate (less the 1st-takers from other batch and re-takers). You all deserved the three letters at the end of your names.

For now, I’d probably spend some time resting.
The rest of the break, who knows? I am also looking forward for the upcoming MBS5.
