This will be an extra long post – to make up for the not updated week.
If you have been following my twitter, you should have read my tweet that I met with Shugahlast night. But before I met her, I went to the Iligan Bloggers meeting with Cagayan de Oro Bloggers at Jacko’s where they talked about the happenings that will take place in May.

Shugah and I met at Fontina. I waited almost two hours for her because the inn she is about to check in will not allow reservations. She had to wait there till the checkout time. People at Fontina seriously thought that my date would not show up. Lol!
While waiting for Shugah, I ordered my favourite Brownies and Pineapple juice. Baking classes at pastry schools should also be able to teach you how to bake an even more delicious brownie perfect for dessert.
At about 6:40, she finally arrived lookin so pretty. She’s tall and is wearing wedges that made her taller even more. It’s a relief that I was wearing wedges. haha. If not, I will look like a total midget.
I swear, this iced tea tastes really great.
I ordered Chicken Teriyaki because I was starving already.

These guys were the acoustic band for the night. That girl wearing black has a very sweet voice. They sang almost every favorite song of mine. Love!!
And because a blogger understands another blogger, Shugah gave these to me. We were amazed at how we had gifts for each other. lol!

I know I am not that active at updates these days. I am so sorry. It’s just that I started my on-the-job training at Petronas Energy Philippines, Inc. already. And everytime I get home, I am already really tired and just sleep.
Anyway, that was my Saturday.

Numerous people get addicted so much to gaming. There are thousands of reasons why they say they love gaming – may it be online or offline. However, as the world takes its turn from an offline to an online world, there has been many seen changes in the world of gaming as well. Games are now available in more than thousands of websites in the world wide web. You can find just any kind of games online. There are vast varieties of websites such as for kids, and adults. Many say, ” My favorite online games site is something that can give me good result, something that would not fool me, and something that will cater to my needs.” While for others, it’s just the ecstasy of gaming that they are after. And others are for discounts and money that are bound to the gaming system.
Different kinds of people with different kinds of prospectives about gaming. As Wikipedia says in the link, “A game is structured playing, usually undertaken for enjoyment and sometimes used as an educational tool.” There are many uses of gaming that we perceive it to be. You can do it for the money, for the fun it brings, or simply for the unwinding it causes someone. Whatever your reason for gaming, you must always remember that it must not inflict and be a burden on you. It must be for a good reason. You must get something out of it – money, fun, friends, and many others.
Whatever the game you are playing, the result must be good. You have to know that games are for fun. They are not meant to destroy someone especially yourself. You should get the most out of it – even to the tiniest discount that it can offer or to a huge amount of money it promises when you win.

Last Saturday, we had our last work as an Executive Council Officer. We cleaned the EC Office and had fun with the new set of CBAA Executive Officers. It was a worthwhile experience to be serving my fellow students. I want to thank Sittie for pushing me to be a part of the EC. If it were not for her, I would not meet such lovely fellows.

Play the nasheed above while reading this post. First of all, I want to thank Allah for giving me this life and this blessing.
For the past two years of my studies, I have not been working hard to get my grades higher. You know that feeling when you are constantly at the top of your class during elementary and highschool? Recently, I just wanted to get that feeling out of my system. I learned that at some point of time, you get sick of what usually happens to your life. You just want to break free. But later on, you’ll realize that you are what you have been. Then, you go back to that kind of system again.
Disregard my only 2.00 grade in MacroEconomics. Man! All of us got low grades in that subject. It’s not an easy one, you know. >_<
After two long years, I now say hello to good grades and GPA again. 2 years is not a joke. REALLY! I had to dwell with 1.72 cumulative GPA – wew. I’ve learned my lesson. Well, I hope I can make it better this coming two last semesters of my college life. Audit Theory and Problems, and Finance 3 are not just any subjects. There is that feasibility study too. Man! I getting worked out just thinking about this.
This is the 2nd highest GPA that I was able to get in my college years. Hopefully, this GPA will help me get into graduate schools online. Dang. That sounded so wrong. For a person who was once an outstanding student, here I am telling you that this is my 2nd highest grade. Urgh. I wonder where did all the enthusiasm in studies went? This time, I will find that enthusiasm in me. I WILL! I SHALL!
True. Grades do not measure intelligence but it feels good to get good grades. It really does!
Making ends meet while blogging and studying at the same time is hard. However, in Allah’s glory, I was able to make it. Allahu Akbar.
Now, I am thinking of ways to give myself a reward for the job well done. InshaAllaah, by next year, I will uphold to having a good GPA when I graduate. Please help me pray for this to happen.
