To all my Muslim brothers and sisters worldwide, I wish you all a very blessed Eidl Fitr. May all of our sacrifices during the month of Ramadhan be accepted by the Almighty.
Time flies so fast that Ramadhan has already ended. I wish that all of us may still be able to witness and participate next Ramadhan. For now, let us enjoy the feast and be thankful of every blessings that the Almighty has given us.
Just being able to wake up for another day is a blessing that we should be thankful of. Be thankful for having great parents. Be thankful for the gift of friendship and love. Be thankful for every smile you receive. Be thankful for the knowledge you gain every second. Most of all, be thankful that you are a Muslim.
To all the people I’ve hurt, I am deeply sorry. If I may have hurt you, please forgive my attitude and tactlessness.
I want to thank the people who are constantly there for me especially my family (Darul, Sugala, Abdurahman, and many more family names), my bestfriends [Star Engotz - (Monin, Jheng, Hij), f5 - (Mench, Gay, Sol, Kylie), Madee, Qcuinne, Nafz, Farm, Xawaii, etc.], my batch [4Vidas, Earthlings, LES Batch 1998 & 2004], and my friends. I want to thank the people who did not support me for making me stronger.
I want to thank every visitor of this blog. Without you guys, this blog would not reach where it is today. I love you all. May the Almighty bless us more.

NOTICE: This post will cover two topics: one for my hijab tutorials on youtube, the other for the wallet tag.
I’ve recently uploaded a new hijab style tutorial at youtube. One is for a hijab that has designs on both sides, the other is for the usual pashmina.
The first tutorial is for the hijab with designs on both sides. Actually, this is only a two and a half minute tutorial. It’s super simple. The hijab style will look like this:
Here’s the tutorial:
The next tutorial vid will be on the hijab look using the usual pashmina. And it will look like this:
Here’s how to do the style:
Moving on, sis Angela tagged me on The Wallet Tag. The rule is that I show you my wallet and what’s inside it. Don’t expect much though. hahaha.
I actually have two wallets but I use the small one more often. It’s like a purse or something like that.
The big one is Mango and the smaller one is Debenhams. Both are given to me since I really don’t like buying a wallet. I have this mindset that if I cannot put much money into a wallet, why spend to buy one? I use the pouch and the big one just lie around the room. I keep my cash in different currencies in the big one and the Philippine money in the pouch.
Anyway, moving to my wallet tag, you can already see what’s inside it – Debit Cards, Money, Receipts, and a well-kept 2×2 photo (which you can’t see because it’s well kept, haha). I see to it that I have a 2×2 photo in my wallet in case I need one. There’s nothing really to see in my wallet. haha. Plain boring!
So, I’m tagging Zarah Z, BlogGirl, Clint, Tine, Freyah, Michelle and Mei.
PS: I will choose another winner for my Fab Contest. This time, the winner is Cielo of http://webbycontest.blogspot.com/. Please contact me at hijabified(@)bismillah(dot)com.

This year’s MSU IIT Palakasan has taken a step further. The said event was opened with the thumping sounds of the dancers as they take the stage into the streets of MSU IIT. Streetdance has been the one of the highlights and special events. Spectators and students of MSU IIT crowded the sidewalks just to take a peek of the streetdancers in their different fiesta dances.
The first college to showcase their fiesta dance is my college, the College of Business Administration and Accountancy with its Ati-Atihan dance of Kalibo Aklan. I am proudly part of the committee who made the costumes wherein we didn’t sleep for a night just to make them.
It was followed by the neighboring school of CBAA, the School of Engineering Technology showcasing Iligan City’s Diyandi Festival.
Then, the College of Engineering performed their routine from the famous Panagbenga Festival of Baguio City.
The fourth school to perform is the School of Computer Studies performing the dance from Dalit Festival of Tangub.
Fifth is from the College of Arts and Social Sciences which danced to the beat of the Pintados Festival from Leyte.
Followed by the College of Nursing with their version of the Sinulog Festival of Cebu City.
Second to the last was from the Legendary fusion of the College of Education and Integrated Developmental School which brought the crowd underwater with their performance of Hugyaw sa Kadagatan of Lanao del Norte.
Then, the streetdance competition was closed by the performance of College of Science and Mathematics with their routine from the Masskara Festival of Bacolod City.
The event brought the entire Philippines into one setting – the MSU IIT grounds. The students and spectators were all hyped up. Which college/school do you think would win? Who will take the lead in the Palakasan 2011? Let’s wait and see. Mabuhay MSU IIT!

As always, I have my to-do lists tied up. Anyway, I want to update about my life and my thoughts. This will be random. Bear with me.

Ramadhan is at its peak. It will end next week and I feel so bad about having my monthly period. Why? Because I cannot fast. We are prohibited to fast if we are impure. Well, when you actually have menstruation, you are cleaning yourself. That means, wastes are going out and you are not pure as you are when you don’t have menstrual period. I was actually wishing to complete Ramadhan but I was not given a chance. Though girls on their monthly periods are exempted, I still want to do fasting. Oh well, that’s the price for being a girl.
Moving on,it makes me really happy to hear words of wisdom. Lately, people have been really supportive especially my family and friends. I am glad to have them. With all the things I need to accomplish, those words are my strength. They serve both as guide and charm.
Lastly, I’ve uploaded a Youtube video about my Six-Dollar ($6) Haul. Yes, I’ve used Php249 to purchase the items I have on the video. Awezumm! Excuse my diction and pronunciation. I was really nervous. And I have this bad accent. haha Actually, it took me like 400 minutes to have the video uploaded. Lesson learned. I’ll have it rendered as MP4 next time and not WMV. It takes forever to upload such 200+mb video. The internet signal in the Philippines is crawling. It can’t even walk. Gosh! hahah. That’s how slow it is!
PS: The contest winner did not actually approach/message me. So, I’m gonna be picking another winner by Saturday. tsk.
