SINIX World Class Wall ClockI am now nineteen years old. Old enough to remember the days when everything was still so beautiful and merry. Problems seem to be so minor back in the good old days. Currently, I am living away from home for my study purposes. It has been years since I have visited my place. Thus, it made me realize how unique my home was. For a nostalgic lass like me, I remember every strand of memory my home has imparted me. One of those is my parents’ cuckoo clock which has a long pendulum that I and my cousins fondly played with. We were so fascinated by the fact that it makes a sound whenever it ticks an hour and that the pendulum needs to swing in order to keep the clock running. Talk about save mother earth. You do not need batteries for this kind of clocks.

One of the most admired manufacturers of these kinds of clocks is the SINIX Corporation which has been in the business world since 1998. They have been a huge name when it comes to Cuckoo clocks but they also make digital clock as well. They have been pursuing better designs since the major revenue comes from export – 80% to be exact.

Moving on, the coolest thing about that certain clock is the fact that it has been with us for almost a decade and there is no need to use batteries since it is pendulum-driven. The quality of these kinds of clocks is indeed unquestionable. The nicest thing about Cuckoo clocks from the SINIX Corporation is that they serve as furniture and a device. It is mainly made from wood and Polyurethane Carving. The certain clock is made from Korea. It comes with a cuckoo or doll alarms which shuts off by night and you can also lower or higher the volume. You can even turn off the sound if you don’t want to hear it. And it is of Quartz movement.

The sound it plays whenever it ticks an hour already is like a splendid music to my ears. The sound of grandfather clock in our living room can be heard around the house. Thus, it has been the waking sound of everyone in the house first thing in the morning. When I left home, it has been one of those things I keep looking for – the familiar sound of a cuckoo clock. We surely have our own stories that has been revolving around a certain object that meant something to us.

You can check out www.sinix.en.ecplaza.net for more information and images of these Cuckoo Clocks.

How about you? What is one object that you have that you really love? Leave your answer in the comments. I’d love to read them.

Hahaha I remember those cuckoo clocks!! My dad and Grandma (before she passed away) would always have one in the living room. I would get so annoyed by the cuckooing but ah well. I kinda miss it now. I actually for the first time got to see a doll cuckoo clock those ones are adorable. They’re like German or French little maids that are dancing. My dad was and is a clock collector and fixer. He wants to make that a side hobby, but lately since we’ve moved he hasn’t really had the time to work on anything except putting the house together and what not. Which still needs a ton of work to do. He also got into the guitar stuff as well; such as stringing it together and waxing them etc.etc. good times good times. My favorite object in the house would’ve been my master bedroom at my old house that I grew up in. I had at least 4 different collectors plates, and I just adored/treasured those items. My dad picked them out of course and they were Wizard Of Oz plates but eh. I still adored them. Haha. But yeah. I do get what you’re saying that it is one of those things where you’ll always have a heart for it even when you’re gone and away from home. Even if it became depressing. But the bright side of things…I did get to meet my 1st boyfriend, and he lives a couple of cities away from me. But the strangest thing was we both actually lived in Chino and didn’t know it until we had said stuff about our childhoods when we first started talking and all that. He lived right off of one of the most common streets in our hometown. How bizarre is that? His mom still occupies the house, while his dad and him rent an apartment (I won’t give any details why that’s the arrangement but it’s the way it is for now). Him and I have been together for 1 month now, and still in love. :) . I love spending the night at his place and want him to spend the night at mine, but only when the house is put together and I have my rug that I want which I’ll be getting next month with the help of my bf. Heehee. :) . I’m also gonna ask him about curtains too. What would look good with my room etc.etc. My dad has to measure the window to see how long I need the curtains for as well. Than I’ll get them. I have a lot of plans, but I also don’t want to spend a LOT of money next month. I’m gonna try and start saving up my money for once. I managed to do it twice, if I can do it twice before I can do it again. Ya know? It’s just hard when you want everything in life lol. But ah well. I’m still gonna try and save up as much as I can.

    That's a nice piece to read…
Cuckoo Clocks symbolized the happiness from yesterday that have been miss by author. i think i'm emotionally touched by the content…

For me, the object i love is "Boggo-boggo" a Sama word for a toy boat made from woods or in a Tausug dialect it is called "Bangka-bangka". I used to play it in the sand with my cousins and friends during i was 3 to 6 years of age in the place where my father and his ancestors called it as their homeland, and also became my birthplace as well.

Everytime I see a Boggo-Boggo, I used to remember the place where i was born. Its people, sea breezes, forests, fresh sea weeds, and lots of thing. before was then freely to enjoy, but now, I'm so sad when I visited the place last summer. the place became so quiet, there were only few people lived, some people evacuate from the place and Its people doesn't look like the past days that are so happy in their living. now they are so conscious because they were victimized by some conflicts made in the place.
